About Me
Hi there, thank you for visiting my page! I'd like to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Chris Enders and I have been teaching at Buckeye Trail High School for the past 3 years. Prior to that I taught at East Jessamine High School for 1 year, Livonia High School for 2 years and Bellevue High School for 3 years, where I also served as a class adviser and soccer coach. In the past 9 years, I have taught all of the major high school math courses as well as, 8th grade math, US History, World History, Current Events, and a few computer classes. I am originally from Port Huron, Michigan, where I lived until I attended Michigan State University for my undergraduate program in 2005.
My wife, Lauren and I have done a lot of moving around the past few years but we are looking forward to settling down in her hometown, Kalamazoo. We moved to Baton Rouge while she finished up her veterinary degree at Louisiana State University. After that, she was fortunate to get an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, which was what brought us to Lexington, KY. After the internship, she got a job in Ohio, which brought us there for the past 3 years. In 2017, our daughter Clara was born. Now we are excited to move back home so she will be able to see friends and family much more often. Clara has kept us pretty busy for the past couple years, but before she was born I trained and socialized 5 different prospective service dogs for PAWS With A Cause. I also enjoy going to trivia with family or friends, camping, cooking a nice meal, visiting a new place, playing soccer, basketball, curling or virtually any sport. Thank you for taking the time to read about me, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! |
